Shinsuke Yoshida is the creator of Haruka Pottery. He has been a ceramist for over twenty years and lives in the potters' village of Echizen. He uses local, robust earth from Echizen, one of Japan's 6 traditional pottery regions, where pottery has been produced for over a thousand years. His work, with its natural textures, is full of nuances, those of light on the subtle whites of his glazes and objects that seem to bring depth to everyday life.
