Gemma Koomen works on her drawings by hand, first with gouache, ink and sometimes with colored pencil, she tries to capture the magic of the small moments of everyday life, the joys of childhood to open a small door to happiness and peace. It is with the birth of her first daughter that she reconnected to drawing and to the child she was herself, leaving little by little a job as a photographer and web designer for that of a freelance artist. The love of nature is also a great source of inspiration for her.
